The role of consultant at Spencer Rose is one of communication and understanding. Building strong relationships with both your clients and your candidates is essential.

New consultants are enrolled in a training programme lasting 3 months. This covers every element of the role; presentation skills, resourcing techniques, customer relationship management, through to technical knowledge.

Once the new entrant training is complete, consultants join our continuous development programme. This includes regular training from both internal and external experts (see the link below to the website of one of our leading trainers) and creating a personal development plan that sets out each consultant's key skills and knowledge development areas.

Support and development is fundamental to our approach; each member of our team has regular performance reviews with their manager. Our senior management team take a very hands-on role in running the company and are always available to give support and direction.
